About Integer Body Care

©2003 Essential Expansion ©2005 Body Recovery Therapy © 2014 Kinesiology Re-Visited

Hi, I'm Vickey and I am a health and wellness practitioner with a focus on Kinesiology (human movement).  I have a Bachelor's of Science in Health and Wellness with a focus on Kinesiology as it relates to human health and behavior throughout the lifespan.

  My training and education as a movement therapist began over 20 years ago when I trained in Unity In Motion, Cranial Sacral and Massage therapy, and completing a Bachelors of Science in Physical Activity and Health and Wellness.

 My continued training and education for the past decade has been focused on the principles and practices of trauma recovery through embodiment.

How and why the body moves, or not, is the perspective of the services I offer.

Services I provide include;

  • Body Recovery Therapy
  • Mind Body Connection Training
  • Practitioner Training on the Geometry of Human Movement.

Please visit each page for additional information on these services

 Movement is essential for life to renew. How we move determines the expression of our life force.

Throughout my life I have been attracted to many forms of human movement and physical activities. As a child and adolescent, I rode horses, played tennis, and hiked and worked in the forest. As a young adult I was drawn to additional practices such as yoga, aerobic dance, weightlifting, Mt. bike riding and hiking. In my mid adult hood, I worked in the field of natural resources where I hiked and worked on all types of topography for over a decade.

In my 40’s I was introduced to a movement for healing and expansion. Since my introduction and training of this movement in 2002, I have been utilizing the principles of natural geometry of human movement to facilitate a change in the human condition.

  This supports an opportunity for healing and health and well-being.

What is a Kinesiologist?

 A Kinesiologist is a healthcare professional who specializes in the study of human movement and physical activity. Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement, and kinesiologists apply this knowledge to a wide range of fields, including sports performance, rehabilitation, ergonomics, and biomechanics.

Kinesiologists use their understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to assess and treat movement-related issues and injuries. They may work with individuals who have physical disabilities, chronic pain, or musculoskeletal injuries to develop personalized exercise programs that can help them improve their strength, flexibility, and mobility. Kinesiologists may also work with athletes to help them optimize their performance and prevent injuries.

Kinesiologists may use a variety of techniques and tools to assess movement. They may also use manual muscle testing to evaluate muscle strength and function.

Overall, kinesiologists play an important role in promoting health and well-being through using their expertise to help individuals improve their physical function, prevent injuries, and optimize their performance.
